CCTV appeal after religious attack on mother and child
The incident took place near the Sports Direct store in the Thistles Shopping Centre in Stirling.
CCTV images of a man have been released after a woman and her child suffered a religiously aggravated attack in Stirling earlier this year.
The 27-year-old woman and her daughter were shopping in the Thistles Shopping Centre, near the Sports Direct Store, when the incident occurred at 2.45pm on Monday, April 18.
Police in Forth Valley wish to trace the man in the CCTV images as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
He is white, between 18 and 20, around 5ft 11in, of slim build and had black hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black jacket and and black trousers.
Sergeant Robert Russell of Forth Valley Police said: "While the victim was not physically injured, she was deeply offended and upset by the incident.
"We are keen to trace the male in the CCTV footage and would ask anyone who can assist us to contact police immediately.
"Anyone with further information relevant to this investigation is also being asked to get in touch."
