Man spends 11 hours making cup of tea with Wi-Fi kettle
It might be how we make cups of tea in the future - but hopefully things will run a bit quicker.
It might be how we make cups of tea in the future - but hopefully things will run a bit quicker than they did for Mark Rittman.
The data specialist from Hove bought himself a Wi-Fi kettle - but it took 11 hours for it to boil water.
Mark reverted to boiling water in a saucepan as he was so desperate for a brew.
He persevered with his new gadget - but three hours later it was still causing him problems.
The issue seemed to be that the base station was not connecting with the kettle itself.
His updates got him a host of followers after his posts were retweeted.
And finally at 7pm - a whole 11 hours after his first post - Mark got what he wanted.
