A teenager from Dunblane who had been missing since Friday has been found safe and well on the Isle of Skye.

Concerns were initially raised for Omar Teyve Denham's safety after he failed to contact his family since being spotted at Dunblane train station at around 5pm on Friday.

Officers then received information that he was likely to have travelled to the Ballachulish area before going to Fort William.

The 15-year-old, known as Teyve, was found in the Portree area of Skye on Sunday, and officers have thanked members of the public who assisted in their inquiries.
