Police Scotland has released new images of individuals they are keen to speak to in relation to the Scottish Cup Final pitch invasion at Hampden Park earlier this year.

Thousands of fans spilled on to the pitch following the final whistle on Saturday, May 21, resulting in violent clashes between Hibs and Rangers supporters.

Hundreds of police, including mounted officers, took to the field in an attempt to restore order but the scale of the incursion delayed the trophy presentation by over 45 minutes.

Police have made 81 arrests in relation to the disorder so far and detectives investigating the incident have made a fresh appeal for information in the hope of identifying further perpetrators.

A police spokesperson said: "Police Scotland is continuing to investigate acts of violence, disorder and vandalism that took place during the pitch incursion immediately following the final whistle at Hampden Park after the Scottish Cup Final on Saturday 21 May 2016.

"Police Scotland is releasing images of individuals they are keen to trace whom they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries."
