Replica of missing Ben Needham's sandals revealed by police
Sandals are similar to the pair Ben is thought to have been wearing when he disappeared in 1991.
South Yorkshire police have revealed a pair of sandals - they have had specially made - which they believe resemble the pair Ben was wearing on the day he went missing in July 1991.
Officers approached a bespoke footwear maker in Kos who made the replica sandals as part of their investigation.
Frank Harkness, Yorkshire and Humber regional scientific support officer said: "We know Ben's sandals were bought out here locally. These are sandals that are similar to an image of Ben on a moped that was taken shortly before he disappeared."
Police believe debris they found in 2012 near the farmhouse could have been remnants of Ben's footwear but they were unable to get a DNA profile.
Forensic experts will now try to match 'items of interest' found on Kos this week with that found four years ago.
