An Australian man has had the misfortune of being bitten by a venomous spider on his penis for a second time.

The incident, which took place in a portable toilet on a Sydney building site, was a repeat of a similar attack he suffered just five months ago.

Jordan, 21, said he was bitten on "pretty much the same spot" by the spider.

He told the BBC: "I was sitting on the toilet doing my business and just felt the sting that I felt the first time.

"I was like 'I can't believe it's happened again.' I looked down and I've seen a few little legs come from around the rim."

Jordan was rushed to hospital for treatment.

He said he is expected to return to work soon but will try not to use the on-site toilets again.

"I think I'll be holding on for dear life to be honest," he said.

But as bad as Jordan's experience was, he should probably count himself lucky compared to Attaporn Boonmakchuay, who was bitten on his private parts by a 10-foot python while using the toilet in Sri Lanka.
