Motorist dies after car lands in field and overturns

A motorist has died after his car overturned in a field between Aberdeen and Dundee.
The emergency services were alerted to the incident near Forfar at about 7.45am on Tuesday.
The car is believed to have mounted a roadside verge before landing in the field and overturning.
It is unclear when the crash happened but no other vehicles are thought to have been involved.
One lane of the A90 has been closed southbound near its junction with the B9128.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We attended a serious road traffic collision on the A90 just north of Forfar, which was reported to police at 7.45am this morning.
"A man in his 20s suffered fatal injuries. Next of kin have now been informed and formal identification will be carried out in due course.
"One lane of the southbound carriageway is still closed for investigations surrounding the collision to be carried out.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101."
