Police speak to passers-by near missing teenager's home
Scott Diver, 16, has been missing from his home in Clydebank for a week.
Police will be speaking to passers-by near the home of a teenager who has been missing from his home for a week.
Scott Diver went missing from his home in Clydebank's Second Avenue, on the afternoon of Saturday, September 17.
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of the 16-year-old.
They will conduct "stop and speak" operations near his home and around Clydebank Shopping Centre and at Clydebank bus station on Saturday.
Inspector John Mullen said, "We are becoming increasingly worried about Scott as he has not made contact with anyone in almost a week.
"We've been carrying out a significant number of enquiries to trace Scott's movements and we are utilising a range of specialist services available to us including the air support unit and search teams.
"I hope that by visiting the areas where Scott was last seen or known to frequent, someone will remember seeing him.
"Please continue to contact the police with any information you have that could help us find Scott."
He is described as white, 5ft 10in, slim with blue eyes and dark hair. He was wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit with light blue stripes down the arms and legs, a white T-shirt and navy blue Adidas trainers.
