Teenager robbed and raped near Manchester's Gay Village
Police hunting two women and a man over the attack on the 18-year-old near the city's Gay Village.
A teenager was held down and raped after being robbed and by a man and two women in Manchester, police say.
The 18-year-old victim was thrown to the ground in Major Street, near the city's Gay Village.
The man and one of the women held her down while the second woman robbed her.
The man then raped the teenager before the three fled the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the attack, which happened at around 2.50am on Wednesday September 21.
Detective Inspector Dave Moores said: "This was a horrendous attack on a young woman which has, understandably, left her extremely distressed.
"I would urge anybody who recognises the description of these three and thinks they may have seen them in the city centre area between 2am and 3am to please contact police immediately."
