
Cyclist attacked by van driver in road rage outburst
Police are appealing to trace the motorist after the assault in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire.
A cyclist was attacked by a van driver in a road rage incident.
The man was assaulted in Bridge of Allan in Stirlingshire following a "verbal altercation" with the driver, police said.
The 59-year-old cyclist was targeted near to the Jam Jar cafe in Henderson Street at around 5.10pm on Sunday, September 18.
He suffered a minor head injury during the incident, while police said the motorist drove his white van away from the scene in an "unknown direction" following the attack.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "The driver of a medium sized panel van and a male cyclist were involved in a verbal altercation before the van driver assaulted the cyclist."
