Two charged over serious assault on man at flat in Edinburgh
The 36-year-old victim suffered several arm and leg injuries in the incident in Thornybauk.
Two men have been charged after an attack in an Edinburgh flat.
A 36-year-old man suffered several injuries to his arms and legs in the incident in Thornybauk, off Fountainbridge, on Saturday evening.
Officers scoured the street for evidence on Monday morning, while spots of blood could be seen on the pavement.
They examined a large bin and looked in the courtyard of the block of flats, before going into the property.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Two men have been arrested and charged following a serious assault on a 36-year-old man within an address in Thornybauk, Edinburgh.
"The victim sustained a number of injuries to his arms and legs during the incident, which happened around 7pm on Saturday.
"The men aged 36 and 31 are scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday."
