Domino's driver robbed of four pizzas while making delivery
Police are hunting for two men who made off with a haul of pizzas in the Raploch area of Stirling.
Police are hunting for two men who robbed a Domino's delivery driver of four pizzas.
The incident happened at around 1.25am on Thursday on Balfour Street in the Raploch area of Stirling.
Police said the driver was waiting outside a property on the street when two unknown men approached him and demanded he hand over the delivery.
The Domino's employee gave four pizzas to the men, who fled the scene on foot in the direction of Woodside Road.
Stirling CID are now trying to trace the two men, who were both white and aged between 16 and 24 years old.
The first man is described as between 5ft 5ins and 6ft tall and wore a black puffer jacket with a hood, dark long shorts and trainers. He also had a scarf partially covering his face and spoke with a local Stirling accent.
The other man was around 5ft 9ins tall, slim and wore a light coloured T-shirt and white shorts.
Detective Sergeant Johnny Dreczkowski of Stirling CID said: "Although the total value of the stolen items was relatively small it was nonetheless an extremely frightening experience for the victim.
"These sorts of offences are completely unacceptable and we are committed to tracing those responsible as quickly as possible.
"I urge anyone who witnessed this robbery or who recognises the description of the suspects to contact police immediately."
