A 30-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a mother-of-three in Dundee.

The dead woman, named locally as 36-year-old Marie Low, was found injured on Ballantrae Terrace in Douglas on Sunday afternoon.

She was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland can confirm that a 30-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the death of a 36-year-old woman in Ballantrace Terrace, Dundee yesterday.

"Enquiries are ongoing and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
