Syria releases 'Always Beautiful' advert to boost tourism
The promotional video attempts to attract potential visitors to the war-torn country.
An advert by the Syrian Ministry of Tourism has been widely mocked after showing 'holidaymakers' jet skiing and sunning themselves on beaches in the war-torn country.
The promotional video released on Tuesday, entitled 'Syria Always Beautiful', attempts to attract potential visitors from around the world.
However it glosses over the thousands of people who have been killed or displaced during the country's brutal civil war.
The UK Foreign Office advice against all travel to the country and says: "British nationals in Syria should leave now by any practical means. The situation remains extremely volatile and dangerous."
