A "phenomenal" pilot who crash landed her burning plane into a field in Somerset has been praised for saving her passengers lives.
Four people were on board when the aircraft's engine caught fire over Henstridge in Somerset over the weekend.
Fortunately the pilot's "amazing skill" prevented disaster by landing on a ploughed field.
Dr Ian Mew, a consultant at Dorset County Hospital, attended the scene in his capacity as a motorcycle critical care doctor:
The cause of the engine fire has not yet been determined.
