A couple from Northamptonshire say they feel like they have won the lottery after their family of five became a family of eight - with the arrival of identical triplets.

Keith Monroe and Vimla Patel from Wellingborough in Northamptonshire beat odds of 200-million-to-one by conceiving the trio of tiny tots.

The couple already had three older children and had not planned to have any more. They said the news came as a surprise.

The triplets, DiMarco, Kayson and Omari, were delivered seven weeks ago at Kettering General Hospital.

They are now home and being looked after by their older siblings - Jahmali, 13, Samara, 8, and Cassius, who used to be the youngest at five years old.

The three older children told us they were delighted with the new additions to their family.

Edlest Jahmali said: "I'm happy because there's more of us".

And Samara told us being the only girl was "kind of good".

The proud parents say, after getting over the surprise, it has proved to be a blessing.
