A 27-year-old man has died after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with two cars in Aberdeen.

The incident occurred on Great Northern Road, Aberdeen, by the junction with Clifton Road at around 12pm on Saturday.

The crash involved a black Yamaha motorcycle, a black Vauxhall Adam and a silver Volkswagen Caravelle.

The road was closed while officers examined the scene and has now reopened.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact officers using the non-emergency number 101.
