A woman gave birth in less than a minute - in a hospital doorway.

Jessica Stubbins was dropped off at the hospital by her husband Tom, who had gone to park the car.

By the time he came back, Jessica had delivered the baby herself without a midwife, before getting through the second set of hospital doors.

Extraordinary CCTV footage from the hospital shows Jessica walking through the first set of doors before realising she was giving birth.

Baby Lucy, the couple's second child, arrived less than a minute later.

"I put my hand down my pants, pushed and caught Lucy in one hand," the mother-of-two said.

Poor husband Tom missed the birth by seconds and said he was in "absolute shock" over the incident.

"I couldn't believe she did it herself," he added.

The couple's eldest daughter Penny is thrilled to have a baby sister.
