A search in under way to find a five-year-old boy who has gone missing at a Highland music festival.

Jack Shand was last seen in Green Zone 7 of the campsite at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival at 5.15pm on Thursday.

He is described as 4ft in height, with light brown curly hair and was wearing jogging bottoms with a yellow T-shirt with rainbow print.

A police spokesperson said: "Anyone who sees Jack is asked to approach any police officer or make their way to the welfare tent straight away."

The festival, now in its 13th year, is held on the Belladrum estate near Beauly, Inverness-shire.
