An online predator who posed as a photographer to lure women to his flat so he could drug and attack them has been jailed for four years.

Calvin Edwards, 36, used fake names and online profiles to make it look like he was a professional photographer.

He then advertised for models on a modelling website in a bid to get women to his address in Hingham, just outside Norwich.

When they arrived, he made his victims a cup of tea which he had laced with the horse tranquiliser ketamine.

He grabbed one woman and made threats to another but both were able to escape.

Norfolk Police said a rucksack was found in his house which contained restraints and a balaclava.

Detective Constable Michael Bowers, investigating officer, said: "I hope this sentence serves as a warning about meeting people you've met online.

"Remember, if you are going to meet someone, make sure a friend or family member goes with you and that someone else knows where you are, what you are doing and how long you will be."
