A four-car collision closed a Stirlingshire road in both directions.

No one was seriously injured in the crash on the A84 near Blair Drummond Safari Park at 11am on Monday.

The Scottish Ambulance Service attended to treat minor injuries.

A silver Vauxhall, grey Peugeot 308, red Vauxhall Astra and blue Kia were involved.

A Traffic Scotland spokesman said local diversions were in place and motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible.

The road was shut for over an hour before the incident was cleared.
