Trains delayed and cancelled after damage to overhead line
Dozens of services have been affected by the fault at Glasgow Central station.
Trains have been delayed and cancelled because of damage to an overhead line.
Dozens of services have been affected by disruption at Glasgow Central station, which began on Thursday morning.
The fault involves five platforms and delays are expected to continue until at least noon on Thursday.
Trains to Neilston, Newton and Barrhead have been cancelled, while services to East Kilbride, Kilmarnock and Edinburgh via Shotts are disrupted.
A ScotRail spokeswoman said: "There are overhead wire problems which are affecting access to five platforms. Engineers are on site to diagnose and repair. It's not possible to say how long disruption to services will last."
A spokesman for NetworkRail Scotland added: "Damage to overhead wires is restricting services in and out of Glasgow this morning. Engineers are investigating."
Buses have been arranged for a number of services and more information can be found on the ScotRail website.
