The second knifeman who murdered a French priest in Normandy has been identified by investigators, according to a judicial source.

They claim the second attacker was Abdel Malik P., and the delay in identifying the 19-year-old was caused by ongoing DNA tests.

Malik P's identity card was alleged to have been found at the home of the other assailant, Adel Kermiche, who was named by France's anti-terror prosecutor on Tuesday.

The two men attacked and killed a priest and seriously injured a woman after storming a church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray during morning mass on Tuesday.
