An armed robber who threatened a Perth shop worker with a knife is still being hunted by police one week on.

Police investigating the robbery at a Costcutter shop on Main Street in Bridgend, returned to the scene on Sunday evening.

The robber stole a three-figure sum during the incident on Sunday, July 17.

The shop worker was left shocked but unhurt.

Police have been carrying out enquiries but are hoping to identify further witnesses.

Detective Sergeant Marshall McKay said: "I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything suspicious to come forward.

"We are particular keen to speak to anyone who was on Perth Bridge or in Bridgend around 9.30pm on Sunday, July 17.

"The man responsible is described as being 5ft 11in tall, wearing a navy blue hooded top and navy blue tracksuit bottoms.

"If you have any information, or if you know who this man is, I would encourage you to speak to our officers who will be in the area tonight between 8.30pm and 10pm."
