It's Lachlan's birthday but he storms out after Lawrence is mean to him - and later, Lawrence is shocked to find his grandson waiting with a loaded shotgun and a manic glint in his eye. He makes a grab for the gun and a shot rings out...

Elsewhere, Andy waits for Chrissie at their picnic spot but when he sees the ambulance headed for Home Farm he follows it. He tries to comfort Chrissie but she pulls away - and when Lachlan turns him away at the hospital he wonders what he's done wrong.

Plus, Marlon and Carly get close as he gives her a shoulder to cry on, on what would have been her son's birthday. She soon leans in for a kiss...
