A man has reportedly rammed a car into a police station underground car park and claimed he had a bomb in Australia.
ABC Australia said the driver had a gas bottle in the car and suffered burns during the incident in western Sydney. Other reports said the car was loaded with gas cylinders.
It is claimed the man made a threat to police, suggesting there would be a large explosion.
It is unclear what happened next, but police said the man has been arrested and investigations are continuing.
Reports from the scene suggest a man in his 60s was taken away on a stretcher after being confronted by police.
The incident happened at a police station in Merrylands at around 7pm local time.
No officers are thought to have been injured.
