Hundreds gather to pay tribute to Bastille Day attack victims
Flowers were laid on the Promenade des Anglais, after 84 people were killed in an attack in Nice.
Hundreds of people gathered at a makeshift memorial on Friday evening to pay tribute to those killed in the Bastille Day attack in Nice.
Flowers were laid on the Promenade des Anglais, nearly 24 hours after a truck ploughed into spectators watching a fireworks display in the southern French city.
Eighty-four people were killed in the attack.
French authorities reopened one side of the promenade to traffic, but the other, where the tragedy happened, remains closed.
