A man has been charged over the death of another man in Dundee.

Nigel Poustie, 49, was found with serious injuries in the city's Charleston Drive on Monday July 4.

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the next day.

On Thursday, Police in Dundee said a 50-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the death.

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal and he is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday.

Officers urge anyone who saw Mr Poustie on Monday or have any information to contact Tayside Division on 101.
