Four female pedestrians have been injured following a car crash in a village in Aberdeenshire.

The incident involved a woman driver and took place around 2.30pm in the village square of Portsoy.

One of the women was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, while another was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The other two women suffered minor injuries.
