Police 'increasingly concerned' over missing teenager
Courtney McNiven has not been in touch with friends or family since Saturday.
Police are growing "increasingly concerned" for the welfare of a teenager who went missing on Saturday.
Courtney McNiven, 18, was last seen around 12.30pm in the Maddiston area of Falkirk, and has not been in touch with friends or family since then.
Police believe Courtney may have got a bus to Falkirk Bus Station and arrived there around 1pm.
She is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with long blonde hair.
Courtney has two tattoos on her hands, a quote tattooed on one wrist and tattoos on her fingers.
When she was last seen she was wearing a black leather jacket, a black top and dark jeans with rips in them.
Inspector Anton Stephenson of Falkirk said: "We're growing increasingly concerned for Courtney's welfare and are appealing for the public's help.
"I'd ask anyone who may have seen Courtney since this time, or has any information regarding her whereabouts, to contact us.
"If Courtney sees this appeal, I would urge her to get in touch with either us or her family and let us know that she is safe and well."
Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101.
