Four young children have been found stabbed to death at an apartment complex in Tennessee.
Four young children have been found stabbed to death at an apartment complex in Tennessee and their mother is in police custody, officials have said.
Authorities were called to the Greens at Irene apartment complex in Memphis earlier today, where they found the four youngsters - all aged under six - suffering fatal stab wounds.
Officers have sealed off a large section of the complex while investigations continue.
According the Memphis Commercial Appeal, the deaths of the children mean the Memphis Sheriff's office has dealt with seven murders in under four weeks.
