Sixty-five UK football fans arrested at Euro 2016
Home Office minister Mike Penning revealed the number of UK fans arrested in France.
Some 65 UK football fans have been arrested at Euro 2016.
England topped the list with 45 supporters detained, next was Northern Ireland with 11, and Wales had nine.
The early days of the tournament were marred by violence with violent clashes between England and Russia fans in Marseille.
Speaking during a Westminster Hall debate on football hooliganism, Mike Penning, a Home Office Minister said that police "can do more" and will receive extra support.
The debate was led by Conservative MP Gareth Dartford, who called on the Government to consider taking extra steps beyond banning orders.
England crashed out of the tournament following an embarrassing 2-1 defeat to Iceland in the second round.
Wales have progressed to a quarter-final encounter with Belgium after beating Northern Ireland 1-0.
