'Many wounded' after gunman opens fire at German cinema
At least 20 people have been reported injured following the attack at the Kinopolis in Viernheim.
Between 20 and 50 people have been wounded by a gunman who opened fire at a cinema before barricading himself in, German media have reported.
The man entered the Kinopolis cinema complex in the town of Viernheim in the Rhine region of west Germany, according to Bild newspaper.
He is said to have holed himself up inside the building after the shooting at 3pm, while police are rushing to the scene.
