Body recovered from River Clyde by emergency services
Police and fire crews attended the scene on Saturday afternoon, near the Kingston Bridge.
Police Scotland have confirmed that a body has been recovered from the River Clyde by emergency services.
The discovery was made on Saturday afternoon, nearby the Kingston Bridge.
Emergency services were called to the scene and were able to pull the body from the river, but as yet no formal identification has taken place.
A police cordon remains in place either side of the bridge while inquiries continue.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 4.35pm on Saturday June 18, 2016, a body was recovered by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service personnel from the River Clyde near to the Kingston Bridge."
