The famous 'hot felon' who shot to fame after his police mugshot went viral is finally out of prison and ready to embark on a new career as a model citizen.
Jeremy Meeks, whose post-arrest picture gained him thousands of fans online, is out of jail and showing a more polished side in his first professional modelling pictures posted to a new official Instagram account.
Meeks, who was arrested in an anti-gang initiative in California, gained a legion of fans after his image was published by Stockton police in 2014.
Despite picking up offers of an agent on the back of the attention, he had the small matter of jail to attend to first. He was ultimately sentenced to 27 months in jail for possession of a firearm.
After his release from prison three months ago he told fans on Instagram: "I want to thank my family and everybody for all your love, support and prayers. I'm overwhelmed and grateful for what lies ahead. I'm ready."
