CCTV footage has captured the moment a drink-driver smashed through a shop window, ploughing into a small child.
The 79-year-old drink driver drove through the front of Landside Wine Stores in Leigh last month.
The six-year-old boy, who can be seen picking up sweets seconds before being hit by the car, incredibly escaped with only cuts and bruises.
A 79-year-old woman has today pleaded guilty to failing to provide a sample of breath and driving without due care and attention.
She was disqualified from driving for three years and given a 50 hours community order and ordered to pay costs of £170.
Greater Manchester Police released the footage "to reiterate the dangers of driving under the influence and the devastating impact it can have on other people".
