Firefighters battle shed blaze throughout the night
The fire service received 29 calls about the huge blaze in a shed full of hay near Falkirk.
A huge shed fire blaze was battled throughout the night by firefighters in rural village near Falkirk.
The hay-filled farm building in the Maddiston area went up shortly after 8pm on Wednesday.
Fire crews were still using a hose reel to put out remaining hot spots at 7am on Thursday.
The fire was so big the fire fighters received 29 calls from members of the public from the surrounding area.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: He said: "We got 29 calls from the surrounding area. It was quite a large fire involving a large amount of hay.
"Crews and one appliance are still there using the main jet to deal with some hot spots."
