Pair accused of Russell Robertson murder released on bail
Mark Munro, 30, and James Robertson, 26, made no plea or declaration to the murder charge.
Two men accused of murdering 27-year-old Russell Robertson last month have been released on bail.
Appearing at Falkirk Sheriff Court for the second time, Mark Munro, 30, from Denny, and James Robertson, 26, from Westquarter, both made no plea or declaration to the murder charge.
The date of their next court appearance is still to be confirmed.
The pair are accused of murdering former Forth Valley College student Russell Robertson after his body was found in the early hours of Sunday, May 29, near Grahams Road in Falkirk.
It is believed Mr Robertson, known to family and friends as 'Smeegs', had been on the way home from the nearby Warehouse nightclub on Saturday night.
Mr Robertson's body was found next to Bainsford Bridge, which runs over the Forth and Clyde canal.
