Two men have been taken to hospital after their dinghy capsized off the coast of Skye.

A call was made to the Coastguard around 1.20am from the Isle of Ornsay Hotel who reported that two men were overdue.

It's believed the men had been trying to reach a yacht that was moored in the bay.

A lifeboat from Mallaig along with other local crews were called out and found the two men in the water.

Both men have been taken to Fort William Hospital but their condition is not known.
