Boy, seven, in heartfelt letter for Inverness CT manager's job
Ewen has pledged to 'create a stronger team' and 'help the players develop new skills'.
A seven-year-old boy has applied to become the next manager of a Scottish Premiership club.
Ewen MacKenzie decided to throw his hat into the ring after the departure of Inverness Caley Thistle boss John Hughes.
He has pledged to "create a stronger team" and use the skills he has honed playing for his school's side to "help the players develop".
Despite his busy schedule, Ewen has offered to ask his head teacher if he can leave school early for "important matches and training" as long as the players pitch in and help with his homework.
Ewen said he would have Richie Foran as his assistant manager and Greg Tansey as his captain, adding that he was "delighted with the signings so far".
Caley Thistle has asked their followers on Twitter to decide whether Ewen makes the shortlist.
