Riot police have been called out after a man barricaded himself inside a flat.
Officers were called to the scene in the east end of Glasgow at around 1pm on Thursday after reports of a man causing a disturbance in a property.
London Road has been closed to all traffic between Green Street and Bain Street while police deal with the incident.
It is understood a bare-chested man is threatening to harm officers as well as himself.
Several riot police carrying shields are attempting to bring the situation under control.
Motorists have been asked to use a different route.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said officers were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance within a flat in London Road, Glasgow.
