Woman due in court after death of 14-month-old girl in April

A woman is due to appear in court in connection with the death of a baby girl last month.
Inaya Ahmed died at the Sick Children's Hospital in Glasgow on April 20 this year after falling ill at the family home in Glasgow.
Inaya, from Drumchapel in the north of the city, was 14 months old. It is understood she suffered damage to her brain and doctors battled for three days to save her.
Police Scotland has now said a 26-year-old woman has been arrested and detained in connection with the death.
The woman is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
