Police were called into the St Jakob-Park stadium in Basel ahead of the Europa League match between Liverpool and Sevilla, amid reports of a minor skirmish between fans.

The Spanish club had only sold 7,000 of their 9,000 allocation, whilst the Merseysiders appeared to take over almost three-quarters of the 35,000-capacity ground.

There was no segregation in the end which housed the Sevilla fans, and a small scuffle broke out between 20-30 supporters.

The scuffle quickly subsided after stewards intervened, before police arrived to line the aisle between the two sections and provide segregation.
