Puppy 'mauled to death by another dog' on Angus beach

A puppy has died after it was allegedly mauled by another dog on an Angus beach.
The 16-week-old jackadoodle was attacked on the main beach in Arbroath, also known as Elliot Beach on Tuesday morning.
The dog was taken to a vet but was pronounced dead after the incident close to a children's play park in West Links.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said a man from Angus has been charged in connection with the incident.
She said: "A 60-year-old man has been charged under the Dangerous Dogs Act and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
