Boy, 11, arrested after 12-year-old pupil collapses at school

An 11-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a pupil collapsed at a school in Berkshire**.**
The 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after an apparent assault in a playground at Blessed Hugh Faringdon Roman Catholic School in Reading.
The boy collapsed at around 1pm on Tuesday and was taken by air ambulance to hospital where he received treatment for serious injuries.
Thames Valley Police said the pupil is in a stable condition and detectives are investigating the incident as they believe the young victim was assaulted.
