A man has been charged after two teenage girls were approached on the street.

Officers launched an investigation after the girls reported the incident in Fintry, Dundee, on Wednesday evening.

The girls claimed they were walking in Findowrie Street and Grampian Gardens at about 8pm when the man approached and spoke to them.

Police said a 28-year-old man had been charged over the incident.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal and he is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday.
