Emergency repairs to barriers will start on the Clackmannanshire Bridge on Monday.
Maintenance work to repair parapets on the A876 will take place overnight from 7.30pm to 6am from Monday, May 2 to Thursday, May 5.
A contraflow system will be in place while lane closures alternate between the north and southbound carriageways.
There also will be closure of the northbound footpath but provision will be made to allow for the safe passage of pedestrians and cyclists.
The work is to be carried out by Amey, which is responsible for the north east trunk roads network.
It carries out major road and bridge maintenance work, as well as inspections, to ensure the routes remain safe and well maintained.
