A body found off the coast of Dorset has been confirmed as that of missing junior doctor Rose Polge.

Dr Polge, 25, who worked at Torbay Hospital in Devon, disappeared on February 12.

A major search operation was launched when her car was discovered in a car park in Anstey's Cove, and her hoodie was found on the beach.

Her body was recovered from the sea east of Portland headland on April 1 and Devon and Cornwall Police say she has now been formally identified.
