Your mind and body are connected, it is something which seems obvious but you might forget it in a fluster of studying.

There is an easy solution though before you sit down and take time to start studying: take a minute to start breathing properly. It will even help you by doing it before an exam as well.

Brian Costello of HeadStrong advises if you are stressed or anxious you don't breathe properly. So try counting in for four and out for eight.
