
Woman killed by vehicle being driven by her husband
Police investigating after Kim Clark, 46, died in the collision in Milnathort on Tuesday.
A woman was killed when she was hit by a vehicle being driven by her husband.
Kim Clark, 46, died in the collision on South Street in Milnathort, Kinross-shire, at 1pm on Tuesday.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident but news of her death has shocked the small town.
Floral tributes have been laid at the gates to the couple's business, Restoration & Renovation (Scotland) Ltd, where the accident happened.
An employee who witnessed the crash said it was a "tragic accident" made all the worse because it was her husband Stephen who had been driving.
He described Ms Clark as a "lovely woman who always had a smile on her face and had time to speak to everyone".
He said everyone at the firm is "completely shocked and devastated" by what had happened.
The company is to be closed for the rest of the week due to bereavement, it was announced on its Facebook page. Messages of support have also been offered online.
Police Scotland said: "The family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that she will be greatly missed.
"They do not wish to make any further comments and have expressly requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
"Inquiries into the full set of circumstances of the incident are ongoing and Tayside Division would appeal for anyone who may have information that could assist officers with their enquiries to contact Police Scotland on 101.
"As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
